Most of the day was mostly uneventful
8 or a dozen mad birds made their way to a specific spot
in an enormous honeycomb structure
of concrete and brick in which the rooms
were overcome with a variety of competitive noise makers making
unsubtle, their nuances. Like a big tree being dumb
and taking up its share of the sky.
The things are busy. They are busy speaking their differences.
I’m still amazed by the ocean
even after countless irrevocable mentions of its presence.
